This cross cultural business communication class is for professionals who deal with more than one culture in their daily lives, at work or during business travels. Skillful professionals need to identify individual competencies to understand how different cultures interact with one another and how to be successful in diverse environments - in the Silicon Valley and abroad. Professionals will learn how to develop a global perspective, how to categorize and analyze different cultures to find out which cultural factors are important and why, and how to efficiently and effectively approach working with a cross cultural team. Classes
will include group discussions and case studies. Participants will have the opportunity
to participate in individual exercises and hear guest speakers. It will also include
